Dr. Saveraid is a board-certified veterinary radiologist who grew up in Iowa and received his DVM degree from Iowa State University in 2000. After spending two years in small animal practice in Maine, he completed a 3 year radiology residency at Washington State University. He worked as a clinical faculty radiologist at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Zurich before returning to private practice in 2010.  

In 2010, Dr. Saveraid founded a mobile ultrasound company, VetRadiologist, serving the Twin Cities metro. He is the only board certified radiologist providing mobile ultrasound exams in the state of Minnesota. In 2017 he started Twin Cities Vet Imaging teleradiology service in response to demand for a locally based, small group radiology service. Twin Cities Vet Imaging offers radiographic interpretation to select veterinary hospitals primarily in Minnesota and surrounding states. Twin Cities Vet Imaging strives to develop collaborative relationships with referring doctors to improve the value of the radiographic consultation.  

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and  spending time outside with his wife and four kids. He is also passionate about prairie restoration and helps his mom manage a 120 cow beef herd on the Iowa family farm.
